Description I'm hoping I can post withered Golden Freddy today too.
And look! First design without a previous pic! I remembered I stopped in 2020 at Withered Chica, as I never had started W.Foxy. (no motivation)
Maybe I should make a watermark for these...

---------------------  WARNING    -------------------

This is my own FNAF AU and so it isn’t completely faithful to the lore (whatever THAT is at this point).

Names, dates, backstories, and other details about the timeline were altered. My Au plays with the idea of “what if the kids had gotten the bad ending you see in FNAF 3?”, how it got to this point and the consequences of this ending, where the kids are forced to stay on earth as animatronics for far longer. If there would be more victims since it hadn’t stop with the “death” of the purple guy in the springlock suit and the “happiest day” mini-game present in the game.

So please be respectful and remember that it’s just an AU, not the end of the world.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Foxy the Pirate Fox / Withered Foxy

Timeframe of the suit: 1982 (ghost:1985)-1987; fixed temporarily in 1990 (design scrapped/suit destroyed in same year)

   - Story

  • 1985- 1986:

Foxy was an absolute nightmare from the moment he arrived. Complaining left and right about everything and everyone, he especially annoyed Freddy, who wished could strangle him or rip the voice box out of that fox throat.

Like any other robot, his programming kicked on its own when the pizzeria opened, making the kids nothing more that spectators in their own bodies, they couldn’t control most of the movements, trying would make the suit break down. Foxy did try, however.

Complaints from customers ranging from the Foxy animatronic suddenly stopping mid-sentence to erratic movements caused the company to waste so much money on trying to figure out the issue. The reason Foxy was doing this was just for the sake of throwing a tantrum, an “act of defiance” if you will, often Freddy would see this in the corner of his eye and loudly sigh internally, waiting for the end of the show to kick some bloody sense into that brat.

Under that brat façade, the reality was that this was Foxy way of grieving, the only way he really figured he could grieve, even if he complained a lot about his life and family situation, he just still couldn't help but grieve for what he lost, even if it came in form of an tantrum. His denial of the situation he was in took an ugly face, stopping him from truly connecting with the rest of the kids, maybe partially blaming them for this turn of events.

Eventually the company just decided to not waste more money on trying to fix something that refused to get fixed (btw, Foxy hated the mechanics touching him, which caused him to tantrum even harder, turning into an endless cycle) and just let it be, whenever it broke down, they would close the curtain on the damn thing, which, somehow, made him even angrier.

His relationship with the crew and in extension the pizzeria was more than unpleasant, for everyone.

  • 1987:

As you could have guessed, the scrapping made him throw bigger tantrums than before, especially when he found out his replacement was a easily breakable female fox, not even a pirate anymore. Here it finally dawned on him the reality of his situation, he couldn't deny it any longer.

The employees poking around for parts didn’t help, however, the key difference now was that they were all stuck together in one small room, and Freddy finally broke. No one sure what happened, all they know is that Foxy returned in worse shape than what he originally was, most think Freddy must have cornered him, and a fight broke out when the others were asleep or deactivated, Freddy returned almost undamaged, so we can guess which one won that one.

After that he quieted down by a LOT. He became…quite shy and quiet, he still had anger fits here and there but not to the same level as before. It was around this time that he got closer to Bonnie and became good friends with each other, even if a bit competitive. He was finally connecting with the rest of the crew, with the exception of Freddy, who he didn't like one bit.

Trivia:

  • Pulled on some of his wires and fur when bored
  • Mechanics scratched their heads whenever they were called to fix him
  • Very sensitive to light, something that carried on to his later form
  • He a totally different guy when on his own with Bonnie, he acts more like a reasonable person
  • Switched on and off the pirate talk whenever, didn’t seem to realize when it happened
