I really need to watch South Park sometime.
I think the problem I've always had with it was every fan draws the characters in such beautiful detail and style and it is weird looking at the actual show's style with the huge difference? Not a negative really, but my mind is odd and has a hard time connecting things well due to the differences. When I think of specific characters of the show I often only ever think of how people portray them in fanart, making it harder to put name to face in the show itself. I think the fans do a better job of making the characters more distinct in a way. I would say the fans help the show immensely because of this actually, I'm just an odd one out there.
It's just disorienting to me and I'm sure it's a great show if I just sit down and watch it. Someday I will when I have time and nothing else to do! (tbh with how much fanart you've been doing of it I might just be inspired to watch it very soon.)

!!! I just started watching it very recently, maybe 2-3 weeks ago? And I felt the same way for a while!! I think you eventually grow to really like the way the actual south park style looks, as weird as it is???? Also I personally like the cartoony styles better so I think it's a little easier on me
South Park is a REALLY fun show though!! Altho I wouldn't recommend watching it chronologically from season 1... It's really weird and hard to describe but you should just watch whatever episodes seem interesting from the later seasons. I could recommend episodes from any characters you wanna learn more about !!

I have no particular preference on who the focus is, just ones that you think would be best to bring other people interest to the series! I usually tend to watch things chronologically in order, but if you're saying it is best to not, I'll take your word on it. I have a thing where I like to know everything that has happened in shows, so I don't get confused on what is missed later. but I suppose I can attempt to watch some of the newer ones and then just watch it chronological after? lol Kenny is a cool character though, from what I've ever seen/heard of him; but maybe that's just my love for morbid characters and situations bleeding through haha. Blame that on why I commented on this South Park picture specifically, because I recognized him way faster than others.
Thanks again for the suggestions and your insight on things! (tbh, anyone's suggestions and opinions are wonderful on this so if anyone else has any favorite episodes I'd love a message from them too!)
