Well, Ive always liked birds... but the real reason is the lack of insects. There just doesn't seem to be much about. And even with the birds it is difficult due to terrible haze we are having (months of it due to burning maize fields). The air quality is shit. So, photos tend to be shit, too. That's why I have to fiddle with my birds a bit.

I don't think they do - my guide doesn't mention females so I assume that means male and female are the same. I mean, obviously there are differences between the sexes but I suppose they just don't flaunt it.... much.
