I freakin' love these things. I almost made my fursona one but I opted for the quagga instead.

They've always been my favorite hooved critters. I used to have a anthro character of a sable antelope...who was best friends with a dolphin anthro...for some reason. I dunno LONG time ago.

Yeh. For a brief time, I had an Orca named Micah as my 'fursona'...but I couldn't decide on anything for him/her and ditched the idea. I miss my old jackal fursona but everyone loves Javier so I might keep him lol.

Still not sure if Javier is going to stick with me, but so far so good lol.

This is amazing - I really like the regal feel you have given the sable. And the piercing...
Is the original this light? Some of the amazing detail is difficult to see at first at this contrast level?

I find playing with the GIMP 'curves' option allows me to manage contrast (or gamma, I think it is called when you do it that way) in a finely controlled fashion. I don't know what the PS option is, but it was quite easy to get a sharp and contrasty image of this. If you like, I can post a couple of scraps with the result and a screen shot of what I used in GIMP?

Hi Irenee,
I have put up two scraps here - I guessed at the contrast levels - they also seem to change a little in the way dA processes the jpegs
GIMP:

I never put a link to you on the notes in my scrap! I'll go back and edit it!
Enjoy. If you don't have GIMP, its a free 15MB download, but I'm sure PS can do this somewhere - just I can't tell you where!
