I used some leftover fabric from my friend... I think it was just some kind of red satin from Joann's. If I ever made the gloves again, I'd probably use a different fabric though - that fabric frayed like CRAZY. If I were you, I'd ask the staff at Joann's - they're very knowledgeable about which fabrics are best for your project
The "armor" parts on the glove were just craft foam that I layered and hot glued onto the glove.
