I’ll introduce her since she’s my newest baby:

DoB: August 20th, 2003

Death: March 27th, 2010 (Age 6)

Pepper was a kit when she was given to Kilala by her older brother. She was a kind and lovable ferret and was loved by everyone who met her, even Tsuki and her pups. Pepper was always an energetic ferret after she woke up from her 20 hour naps. But one day she was quite lethargic and couldn’t breath well, and was diagnosed with Insulinoma, a cancerous disease that at some point attacks a ferret’s immune system. Kilala stuck to her side till the very end, nursing her as much as possible but it was too late. Her grave lies outside Kilala’s house where she often visits to greet her deceased friend. But sometimes Kilala has a feeling that her spirit lingers in her household, making her famous “nook nook” sounds and quite frankly, she’s not afraid but comforted by it. Kilala wears a black sash on her belt sometimes as a memorial to her beloved friend.
