Description
I had been fishing and the warm autumn air had gotten to me letting me drift asleep, when I awoke to an odd smell.The day had almost passed away, and I still hadn't caught anything.
As I packed up my fishing gear I noticed that the reason for the darkness wasn't from the absence of the sun, but due to a collection of a thick haze moving in.
The smell was getting stronger, so I hurried my pace to get the last of my belongings into my pack.
That was when I caught a glimpse of it.
A sparkle
On the other side of the lake...
or on the lake!?
It took a few moments for me to realize that this thing was more than a sparkle, and was running straight at me, on top of the lake!

A lot of people would wonder how a cinder would survive ontop of a lake, and well only a few likely can survive and only for a very small amount of time.
Those would be the Cinders with purple flames, and that is because the mineral/element required for purple flames is Potassium, and when potassium comes in contact with water it burns, dances around then explodes.

I didn't refer to that since I am not overly knowledgeable about the contents of the bible or other religious texts, instead its relatively straight forward in meaning.
Pious because it is along the same lines as religious, which I chose because the Cinder was running on water as a Jesus lizard would.
I didn't want to use the words Jesus or religious, so instead I used that to pretty much put meaning behind the word potassium, because when you submerse potassium in water it jumps about, looking as if it skims along the surface of the water.

Oh, that's very clever of you! I was refferring to the Pontius Pious in my history class, but I'm not the best student, so I forgot that he was religious 
But its so cool to see the thought that you put into the name, it's really very interesting!
