Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that Jak’s hair was fucking fabulous in Renegade. I mean those were some fine majestic locks, I always felt just a little bit sad that it got cut in Jak 3.Anyway a bunch of doodles from the last few days, I’m always a sucker for re-interpreting outfits so the top one was my take on a more military/practical outfit. And then I realised I drew the same... pose... from before hahaha.
Also I discovered the other day that you can play Jak 2 with the Japanese dub, it’s both awesome and bizarre to hear their take on the English voices. Jak is somewhat less husky when voiced by Shotarou Morikubo (who is most notably Shikamaru’s voice actor) while Praxis is totally Praxis (voiced by the late but imminently recognisable Daisuke Gori, Jinbe’s first seiyuu). Krew is voiced by the World Noble that Luffy punches in One Piece, which just makes me laugh.

It is really a shame this has only a few comments. This is a lovely collection of doodles. I just love the way you draw him, especially his expressions. Really good job!

I love that in the Japanese dub, they add additional noises and sound effects to particular scenes. It made for a different experience that made playing the game all over again totally worth it and fresh. German was pretty good too, but I only did that because I was taking a class at the time and we were encouraged to do things like watch movies and such that we knew well in German to get into the 'din' of it. It's fun though, because you pick up phrases that were changed to fit the lip sync but still get the same effect.
Best example I can think of is in Jak 3 when Daxter says 'Fish in a Barrel'. Auf Deutsch he says 'Kinderspeil' which means 'Child's play.'
