ahhh one of my artworks not a request on as well, which is odd cuz i've been doing only request work (and working on my comic (new one) which is taking me forever but i'm on page 76...or 77
).so this is nova one of my fav's to draw out out the Elemental Crystal bunch. the original took me 1 1/2 hours to draw at collage during lunch (yer bored in lunch strange) so the original is on lined paper i just borrowed the art blocks light box and draw her on paper!!
thing is while colouring her i was messing around with the hue/saturation thing in photoshop and the colour it made in the picture (orange) gave it a great effect....... i think anyway!!!
so this is Nova, having fun in a sea of flames.......FUN!!

This composition is simple but it has impact. It is focused on the character. The lighting is dramatic, hence emphasizing the character. I like the warm hues and tones that was incorporated in the colors. It supported the role of the character and the element that she uses.
In technique: The lines are clean and the lighting is in the right places. I suggest to experiment and use a wider palette range. The color needs more work. The anatomy is fine. The transition of the tones of color need to be more gradual. Maybe add mid-tones and highlights of different shades.

tbh i've never actually heard of the characters asuka and lili but once i get into it cuz it looks awesome ( from a trailer i just watched) then i'll come back to u!!

The lighting is great. And I also like the sense of sophistication I see when I see this character
