I haven't painted with traditional mediums in ages. I discovered I like digital painting too much. It's so much easier to fix mistakes.

Hmmm. Well, do you have Adobe Photoshop? And also, do you have a wacom pen tablet, or some brand of the same?

Kay. So you just use the airbrush tool, with the wacom's pressure sensitivity, and the tool set at a lower opacity. Then you airbrush colors onto the picture, and use the smudge tool to blend. It's actually pretty simple. There's not much to it. For flesh tones, particularly ones you want to look shiney, like the inside of a rat's ear, you use extremely bright colors for the highlights and make it good and saturated too.

Yeah, some people have trouble with rats. But they're really very sweet little creatures when they're tamed rats.
