Sam sighed a bit as she walked the empty alley of the underground. Her head throbbed from the combined stench of sewage and rotting bodies, as well as the hit she had taken earlier. Maybe Erwin was right and she should have recruited the help of the MP's or waited for a prime time to come to the underground to finish her investigation.
She felt as if she were being followed and turned her head to peer over her shoulder, frowning when she was greeted by an empty alley. Her heart thudded against her chest nervously, she was so sure she had heard something and her instincts were never off. Swallowing, she decided to hurry to the surface and back to headquarters. Erwin would probably lecture her, but it was better than running the risk of going missing down in this hell hole.
Sam lifted her cloak a little to grab her blade handle in case she needed to prepare a weapon, when she felt a hand clamp around her mouth, her arms were securely pinned to her sides before she could think about grabbing her blade and she felt herself be pinned to a tall figure behind her.

"Heya kiddo." A deep gravely voice breathed in her ear, "What's a noble girl like yourself doing down in this dump?"

Sam's wide eyes shifted to try and look at the figure behind her, but unable to see her assailant, she instead struggled feebly, her feet trying to kick or stomp at the man behind her. He let her try for a few moments before the hand that was secure around her mouth pinched at her nose, cutting off all air.

Sam meets Kenny for the first time. this takes place years prior to the rebellion that happens in season 3. hence why her hair is long, as this is a point in Sam's past when she's still a new recruit in the scouts.

Sam is down in the underground, following a lead she gets of her sisters disappearance that had taken place a few years prior. So, why do you think Kenny would be trailing her? comments, thoughts, and critiques are all welcomed. I really did enjoy drawing Kenny, and i'd like to do more with him.
