Description Well this is my magnetic elephant tutorial
Pattern is here -> [link]

Instructions are below, i suggest putting them somewhere so you can see them and the EXTREMELY LARGE picture at the same time, save a lot of scrolling.

Link back here if you post the finished product and tell me cause I love seeing what people make of my tutorials

Materials
1. Tusk coloured felt
2. Elephant coloured felt
3. 8mm diameter magnets
4. Stuffing
5. Elephant coloured thread
6. Black fabric paint or black thread or black marker
7. Fabric Glue
8. Needle
9. Magnetic elephant pattern, printed and cut out (print so that the square is 3x3cm)
10. Scissors
11. Small stick for poking stuffing into place

Method

1. Cut out the entire pattern except the tusks in the elephant coloured felt, you should have all the pieces shown.

2. Start by sewing the tail between the two body pieces.

3. Sew all the way around until reaching the yellow dot.

4. Stuff, making sure to push stuffing into the head.

5. Sew the rest of the way around.

6. Fold the squares in half and round off one end. Make sure if your felt only stretches in one direction to fold them all the same way.

7. Sew around the yellow line, do not sew the bottom.

8. Stuff, leaving the width of the magnet at the opening.

9. Glue in the opening, making sure to cover the stuffing and the sides.

10. Push magnet in.

11. Repeat steps 7 to 10 for other legs.

12. Fold along the yellow line and sew at the yellow dot.

13. Sew ears to head.

14. Sew on legs, it’s easiest to secure two at a time by the yellow dots and then go all the way through at the green dot.

15. Repeat for the other legs.

16. Cut out tusks.

17. Make them more tusk shaped by rolling the pointed end between your fingers.

18. Glue on tusks, paint/sew/draw on eyes.

The End.

Grr! I can't find 8mm magnets so I settled for 12mm... slightly too big, but ehh. :S
My giraffe looks nowhere near as good as the elephants, but I don't think my friend will care... Almost done sewing on the legs

The magnets keep pulling themselves out of the leg... Any advice on what glue to use? Or something.
