Hey, i'd seen some of the comments regarding emerald's future in the series, and there might be something that can give us an idea: do you remember that in volume 3, the fall maiden Amber was attacked and killed by Cinder? Well, i have a theory: i'd seen her appearance and she looks almost exactly as emerald, like if they were sisters or blood relatives. So it might be possible that the loyalty that she has for Cinder is not total admiration or loyalty, but just a facade she created in order to learn about her sister's fate, not knowing about what really happened at Beacon.

I always thought she was the cutest of the RWBY female characters.Β Just my opinion though.Β Also, I DO wonder what would happen to her now that Cinder is "dead?"Β Personally, I hope for the long shot of another reformed villain trope.Β I know we got that with Illia already, but she always either a reformed villain or a sympathetic villain. What about you?Β

Maybe there's some ACTUAL backstory between the two that we're just not seeing, I don't know.Β I personally believe that Emerald has fooled herself into believing Cinder is her savior in some way.Β What I mean by THAT is that Emerald truly felt she had nowhere left to go, remember the scene when the two first met, and thus she joined her.Β PERSONALLY, I want SO BAD to see Emerald either join the good guys (Not likely to not happening period) or (more likely scenario of the two) she leaves Cinder and follows her own path.Β YOUR thoughts?Β Β

I think it would be cool to see Emerald to join RWBY, she seems like she could be very helpful/useful on the good side. But I think ur right, i doubt she'll be joining them, but since she lost Cinder I don't see much point for her to stay with Salem.
