thousands of years ago, the take over of the crystal empire by the black jade province took hold. the black jade family usurped the royal family and displaced them as their own, and through many lives spent; a new era had begun.it had been two generations passed when sombra had taken his reign. and the stallion was ruthless, known as the plight of the black jades, he had decimated many northern tribes and cities in order to expand his grip on the empire. many battles were fought and won, but with each win that had passed, another life was inspired to make change.
despite his cruelty though, sombra had still a soft side to him. married to him as his empress; radiant hope attempted to restrain the king from pushing his people further more into exhaust. and those few times where his temper had not flared, he held back his ambition and kept to his word.
radiant hope would give to him three heirs, and each of which were brilliant in their own ways. though lost to time the three would carry out their father’s legacy to the best of their abilities, but it would soon come that they would fall just as the empire did to the banishing into the arctic darkness.
