so what are curves? cuz i own gimp and i am still trying VERY hard to figure it out ^^
please explain if you can ^^

1. Open the GIMP program.
2. In GIMP toolbar, locate the Color.
3. Click color and select 'curves'.
4. There are signs such as a triangle, click it.
5. Select 'Import settings from file'.
6. Find the folder you save the curves.

My goodness! I didn't mean to sound like I was saying you did poor! I really liked your image, it reminded me of Twitter's "Fail Whale" image they use when their website has too much traffic. That is why I said "fail whale."

curves can brighten (or darken, I havent tried it yet) so if you need to brighten a picture, then you can use curves, located in the Colors tab
