The monks and nuns all leave after the festival is over back to their home temples.
Separated from each other, nine months later, more Air Nomad children come into the world. The cycle of life for Air Nomads begins anew each year. Aloi met Rong Yan, and they hit it off eventually she joined him after the end of the festival. She lived in the Jongmu Air Temple under strict rules and was mentored by Subprior Shang Xi, which she wrote a book in a year and had it published.
Once the Avatar mastered airbending she tagged along and they ventured to the Southern Water Tribe's capital Iqaluit where she got into a heated argument with the Princess of the South, Tanaraq. Chief Unirak asked Rong Yan to escort the princess to the Northern Water Tribe capital, Aupaluk where she was to be taken to Prince Tulok for their arranged marriage. Aloi and Tanaraq got off on the wrong foot and held a grudge toward each other until their fight where they almost killed each other during the time after Rong Yan killed Sakana.
After that they acted a bit nicer toward each other but they burned the bridge between a possible friendship. Three years later, it is unknown whether they became friends or not.
