Thanks. I think it's a shame that the Grim Reaper isn't used more as in movies, hell even when death is used as a villain it isn't the Reaper they use. Usually some guy in a suit, or something. I can honestly think of only three films that have The Grim Reaper in them, Hellboy: The Golden Army, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and Spookies.

I think the problem with the Reaper is that Death itself is "nothing" As...it has many faces and at the same time...no face. It's more fearful when you can not look at your end...dead in the face. It's the reason that I think the Final Destination movies were so popular. Or the original Sole Survivor from 1984.
Or hell, you can throw in It Follows in that too sort of. Death wears many faces is a good argument there.
But I do enjoy me the good old stereotype of the Castlevania type Reaper in a movie though.
Speaking of Spookies....there is a movie that needs a DVD release one of these days

you're right, having Death be everything and nothing at the same time is far scarier than any skeleton. I really would like to see The Grim Reaper be the thing they use in a horror movie.
Spookies is in desperate need of a DVD or Blu Ray, hopefully, a company like Arrow or Vinger Syndrome can fix that soon.
