this is for the what-if prompt!--
If Guinivere hadn't gotten sick, if she hadn't passed away.
Due to her mother's distrust of other wolves, they never would have engaged with the Xassa.
Zelda would have grown up traveling the countryside, seeing the world by her mother's side.
She probably would have been less condescending, more selfish.
And of course with no permanent home she would've held no nationalistic nature.
The AU isn't better or worse for her in the long run, it's just different.
