Flag of the Roman Empire, 19th century. The Suppedaneum cross represents the Orthodox Catholic Church, the official faith of the Empire, with the color gold representing prosperity. The Tyrian purple background represents the traditions of Rome, and of the Emperor.*This is a reupload. I didn't like the 1:2 ratio of the previous flag, made it look too long.
