Okay, the Nataku picture got me fired up to do more arts. So my choice this time was Dead Fantasy by His work is really inspiring and I'm a fan of his works so fanart. : D If you've seen the Nataku picture, I don't have a scanner and took this picture with a camera. This was started this morning around 8 or 9 and completed around 3:30 in the afternoon so 7.5-8.5 hours? But after the Final Fantasy/Square Enix Girls I'll probably draw the Dead or Alive/Tecmo (Team Ninja) girls.

Artist's Rambling/Comments Below:
Geez, does everything look better if you see it for real. D;
(I used the original game model's as references. ;X) I started with Rinoa first, then Tifa, Yuna, Rikku and Kairi but drew Rinoa's Blaster's Edge: Silenced Tear after finishing Rikku and her wings after finishing Kairi. As for the rest of the artist's comments will be little things that happened along the way. Outlined them in the following colors in order: pink for Yuna, Yellow for Rikku, Black for Tifa, Blue for Rinoa and Red for Kairi. Then I start the coloring/ filling in the blank spaces. For one, I don't think Tifa came out the best it could have since I'm not used to drawing side views, especially girls. And that black smudge near her hair is where I erased and tried again, didn't erase all the way but I'm happy about how the hair turned out. And I don't have many color variations of black. Rinoa, her coloring is okay but the leg pose is a little awkward and her face is indifferent. -shrug- Her weapons were also hard to draw since I prefer fantasy complicated desgins to more mechanical ones. Wings were messy and a little rushed but they look good right? ;X Yuna, I messed up a few times with colors. But it was fixed and it looks good, just she isn't as outlined as the rest of them, more like a colorful painting I suppose. Rikku is a little light and there are some colors that supposedly "shouldn't belong there". I like it anyways. Kairi ... haha ... I can barely make out the Valor Form symbols on the side of her ... dress thing. O.o And the keyblades sort killed me inside to color and Oathkeeper turned purply instead of blue-ish. : X Oh well, I'm still happy with the end result.
