I also love her body proportions! It's good to see a fuller figured character for a change instead of those super skinny bimbos with huge boobs!

Yeah I wwas quite disappointed when tried the old version my first Graphire II brought with it. Results were a mess and too many tools to configure compared to PS... but now it seems a lot better with this version!

i like the way you can turn the page so u can paint better. i wish they would do that in PS, i prefer to use the pen on my lines.

KinkyInks In reply to almightybob42 [2008-10-15 18:03:07 +0000 UTC]

Yeah! that one would be a great feature for PS! but another thing I find amazing from Painter is the "scratch tab" which let you dynamically set pressure point while "on" the drawing! that would certainly rock to have on PS

almightybob42 In reply to KinkyInks [2008-10-15 21:56:55 +0000 UTC]

hmm... didn't know about that one...

KinkyInks In reply to almightybob42 [2008-10-16 07:45:21 +0000 UTC]

Yup very useful feature! you can adapt sensitivity while you are drawing which can be very handy if you are working with inks

Great Lineart!I've always had my problems inking my works with Painter. How do you do it?Do you use custom pens?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KinkyInks In reply to Killrave [2008-10-15 07:32:45 +0000 UTC]

Thank You! No no custom brushes, just the "Pencil Cover" standard tool on a layer set to multiply. I've seen it on =reiq 's youtube tutorial

Killrave In reply to KinkyInks [2008-10-15 18:55:44 +0000 UTC]

First, thanks for the quick reply, for the add and the fav.Second,ah,I always thought that reiq or you would use the ink tool.Too bad,I can't watch his tutorials.

KinkyInks In reply to Killrave [2008-10-16 07:37:24 +0000 UTC]

Tried with different styles of pen too but result was a messy pixelated linework even ona 300ppp canvas... I can work smoothly with inking pens on bristol but it seems tablets are way too "sensitive" for my pulse, hence the "pencil cover" which is a bit more forgiving Why can't you watch Reiq's tuts?

Unfortunately,I require itunes to watch his damm tutorials and can't install it without busting my PC.

I love how line weight and dynamics can bring a drawing to life. If only I could use them as i wish but hey I will try and play with them! Thanks!

Muady In reply to KinkyInks [2008-10-15 18:36:52 +0000 UTC]

Oh dear, ive never been good with the digital stuff.
I like to keep it analog, that way i can punch it^^

Im always intrested in sketches, aslong as they arent
to sketchy i can work on em.
