I imagined a background to this picture, the story is that after chibiusa has been acting so tough, and acting as if no one can care, she finally breaks down and goes to Usagi, looking for comfort.This was part of a challenge I did once. The idea was to put two people in a scene doing *something* I came up with this.
Though it may look like marker, it's Photoshop. I think Photoshop CS.... not sure on that.
I wanted to paint it anime style though... but I haven't gotten the hang of that yet.
This doesn't have a fan fiction with it.
Oh and I referenced several real SM pictures to get the colors. O.o;; I did this a while ago, so cut me a little slack on the length of the arms, etc.

Your shading is very good but you should work on your anatomy. And Rini's face seems a little small. Good work though! It's really sweet. ^_~

I did this a while ago. I think I've improved since then, but I haven't had a chance to do anything extensive yet. I'm aware of the problems with this picture, but for doing the whole thing in a few hours, i don't think it's that bad. O.o;; It *was* hell scaling them properly. The anatomy is crap, but as I look at it as if I were an outsider, I do like the movement, though it was sad, after I colored it was when I realized the inherent problems in this picture. (it's always that way).
O.o;; And that's definitely Chibiusa, not Rini. Rini had a really awful voice during that season... Chibiusa didn't. Araki Kae was *sweet*.

Rini had a nasally voice, and was a brat for the entire season.
Chibiusa, was a brat, but you could tell she had some deeper issues to sort out. She was alone, lonley, and in a world that was not hers. Plus she talks in Japanese. O.o;;
Dub pictures are always more fuzzy. ^_^ When I do a dub picture it will have the noise filter on it. ^_^ And a cheesy sign that reads "Sailor Mini Moon"
