Description This was originaly a shot I took in my garden a couple of weeks ago... but I decided it would look prettier in reds than in bright greens : ) Besided, I have this thing for sunsets... auuuu *-* Maybe I'll upload the original photo in my scraps later.

For you who still havn't guessed... it's a tree. Yup. At the beginning, I had thought about painting it with a little fairy in it, but I think it looks better like this, with no itty-bitty details. I like how it came out, mostly because of the colors.. and maybe 'cuz of the painty-ness It's one of my first real tries to draw landscaping, so heck, I'm proud! X_x

Wow, I stopped by your page and this really just immediately caught my eye. The simple tools you used (as you say, the default brushes) really make it look fantastic. I really love it, I shall fav it cuz it's cool. :3

Did you use the Cut-out feature in Photo shop? I LOVE that feature - it simplifies things and makes them so much prettier. I like this a Lot.

I actually used nothing but round brushes... ok, so I used 7 different layers for the colors, but that's about it

Kicchan, your art is one of the most impressive and inspirating here on DeviantART I really like how you did the brushing. It's such a beautiful picture!

i love the concept-and it works well, too. good call on not putting a fairy in it, its more interesting being as abstract as it is.
