Description
I've been developing an old species of mine called Veir, and they have been a fun subject to paint and make characters from. Since they're not quite any real animal and I can still add features from my favorite animals. The body anatomy is primate-like, and the head a mix of canine/bovid/cervid features, and there's some lemur inspiration as well. Size-wise I think they're about dog size..? Biggest ones can be wolf size. They're omnivorous and social creatures, some are peaceful and some are not. They can make some basic clothing, capes and baskets etc. and weapons like spears.
I also had some fantasy elements before, but I'm not sure about them atm! Maybe I'll include them. The idea was that some Veir - very rarely - could be bonded with a scar to an element (like fire, water, wind) and use its powers. But there's a danger that the element takes completely over and destroys them. Element users are feared and therefore also hated, so they usually hide their powers.

But yeah, anyway here's a painting of them! I've been thinking some character for the white one, and their name is probably Bleikr.
