And voila! After only....*counts* three months I got this colored. *hides*
Okay...so I got a bit distracted...
This pic has been in scraps for a while, so some of you might recognize it.

Anywhozit...this is Shinrei from Samurai Deeper Kyo. As I explained in my description before, the title works on quite a few levels, not the least of which being that Shinrei is in desperate need of "letting his hair down" both literally and figuratively...the boy is..umm..*attempts to think of a polite way to say it, fails, and gives up*
Let's just say he needs to do this *points up* more often.

Didn't go in for a complicated background this time, just started playing around with some brushes I found at 8nero.net
I wanted to keep everything pretty much in the same color scheme of blues and grays, then decided to add the splash of orangey-red at the last minute. I love pretending to be artistic!

This is also partly a Feel Better giftie for who recently was hit hard by the loss of her sketchpad full of sketches from the summer and one of her childhood totems all in one fell swoop, quickly followed by the 'death' of one of her favorite manga characters.

EDIT: I glanced back at this again a minut ago and noticed that I had forgotten one of the best parts...the "water" kanji on Shinrei's neck!
That's been fixed now. ^_^;
Sorry for the repeat, you can ignore this, I just needed to do it for my own peace of mind.
