This is one of my first real tries at more realistic art. I want to practice it along with my anime to expand my abilities and prove that i can be diverse
LOL I guess it looks more like a painting than a real bird, but its a start. Bluejays are my favorite birds and have been since I was very little.
I have started rereading Inkheart for a school project but thinking ahead in the series of Mo becoming the rebel 'Bluejay' really reminded and inspired me to start this.
I used Sai for the most part. I only used paint to printscreen it and save it because my trial for Sai ran out

The weakest part i think is the beak; i really got frustrated with it and sort of gave up.
