Description
In heaven,
where the grass swayed with the breath of the wind,
a tree grew low, but strong, its branches were long and thick.
It's leaves whispered a lovely song.
In heaven,
a girl and boy made friends, but they could only meet under the whispering tree.
In heaven, they came everyday to be together in love's embrace.
They sat upon the many branches, listening to the tree's song; they fed the tree with their joy.
Until one day in heaven, the girl met the boy and he was filled with sorrow.
In heaven, the branches grew thin and short, the whispering leaves silenced.
The tree which held the boy's and girl's friendship with its magic had died.
Earth's brutality was wrenching the two apart.
At dawn, the boy would leave, too far to reach the tree.
They glance at each other under the dying tree, with sadness in their eyes.
The sun came up.
The boy left.
The tree died.
And they never each other in heave again~
