This is super duper cute and I love the design but.. shouldn't her gem get smaller as a defense? It is a weak spot and can be fatal if hit and cracked..

yea, I like to think of her gem like a porcupines quills! They're are kinda "defective", and its more to intimidate the enemy than anything??? lol this is an older gem idek what I was doing lol haha
also garnet punches things with her fists, and that is near where her gems are, thats pretty dangerous lol
