Well i had the same impression as a lot of people did i think.
It's basically about a boy who let his addiction to anime/internet/porn/etc take over,
And because of that he lost his relationship with his girlfriend who was very upset with him...
Lol idk that's pretty much what i got out of it XD
Now a days, the internet/social media has become more important to people than actual relationships and such.
people are always sitting on their phones when they are with friends instead of doing things with eachother..

I agree with you there, many people nowadays are more connected to technology than their real life friends and whatnot. However not everyone is the same and besides technology is seen as a easy way of communication nowadays. It's this facilitation of communication via technology that sucks us in even more.
