Quetzalcoatl: A dragon god worshipped by the Aztecs
Krishna: An incarnation of Vishnu the Preserver
Horus: Son of Pharaoh Osiris, who was killed by the evil god Set
Buddha: Enlightened philosopher
Mithras is the only one who has very similar traits to Jesus, and the Mithras cult came AFTER Christianity

All ideology is flawed, always has been, always will be. That is the nature of ideology, it is relative and imperfect. The existence of multiple messiahs throughout the world's cultures can be interpreted as proof of the existence of a single super-culture. For example, Thor, Quetzalcoatl, and Raijin are the gods of thunder in Norse, Aztec, and Japanese mythology respectively. All three cultures have something else in common: stairs; they all have stairs in their architecture, same as every other culture who as ever built a permanent settlement.

Now, this comment of yours is misguiding.
Quetzalcoatl wasn't a god of thunder. He was the ultimate god, ruler of all the other gods. Yes, stairs are common TO EVERY CULTURE, even ours.
What you're trying to point is irrelevant. We already know that there is one single culture. Much more than a culture thing, this "messiah" thing is nothing more than an archetype. (google it, or read some of Jung's works to see what I mean), and that's what I want people to know: before believing in whatever-the-name god of whatever-the-element you want, you gotta start by knowing what's really behind them, once that you know what's true behind them, then get to pray them as much as you want.

While the concept is an intruiging one, that idealogical drive behind it is flawed.
It is easy to dismiss the idea of a messiah type figure exsisting in reality for lack of one's perception of it. Sure these figures all represent one underlying ideal, but does that mean the ideal is a lie? I think not.
In fact, it would be more logical, to look at it from the perception of these people who have created this image. The historical fact of the matter is, that these people likely saw things and events that were beyond their simplified comprehesion to understand and dictated it into the simplest terms.
Just as if we brought them back a Dodge Dakota to medieval europe, we would be burned at the stake.
To dismiss a myth is utterly false based on present day perceptions of reality is no better then screaming "black magic" when the engine of that truck starts up.
Mythologies are built on truths, but they aren't always the truth one thinks it is.
The artwork is good. The ideaology behind it, is flawed.

And what I am saying is that dismissing the possibility of the divine or the mystical is just as foolhardy as dismissing that which our limited comprehension considers fact or science. There are forces in this world that we couldn't even begin to comprehend. Some of them could very well be the divine forces written about in ancient texts.
Only a closed mind disreguards the possibility of the incredible and mystical.

So you're saying we all be supposed to believe in Shai'Hulud just because Frank Herbert said so? Or that we're supposed to believe in Devilish Aliens just because Arthur C. Clarke wrote about them?
Don't fool yourself trying to come all "wise" to me. Open to what is unlimited is one thing and believe in fiction is other. What you're doing is believing in fiction: it has been already proven that those stories are just myths and myths should be.
I'm not saying there was no "hero", there is a hero and is called HUMAN, all of those stories are allegories to human behaviour and human growing (from birth to the tombstone), not to one man who can turn water into wine or a man who slayed a bull.
Say whatever you want, I'm not going to change my opinion just because you're "trying to prove me wrong", as I'm not willing to even try and prove you wrong, all that I'm doing is explaining my own art. And If you don't like it, well, leave my DA and that's it.

If you wish to believe in Shai'Hulud, then long live the fighters. Where is the proof that the events in the Bible, or any other religious text for that matter, is mythical? To put it bluntly, there is none. It has already been proven that the city of Jericho was laid seige to around the time of Crist. We know the location of the city of Babylon, origin of all the world's languages, where King Hammurabi attempted to erect a tower to the heavens.
And let's not forget Scientology . . .

Yes, the city of Jericho did exist... but was it destroyed because a bunch of guys just screamed on it? We know where is the city of Babylon and of the towers... but was it destroyed because a thunder was sent from heaven?
That's my point exactly.
There is this part that IS myth and there's this part that is REAL. If we focus on WHAT IS REAL, then we might go on. Don't misunderstand me, if you want to believe in whatever you want to believe is fine. What I mean is that beneath every single myth there's a truth and before we start believing, we should be looking into this truth.

Yeah, yeah, whatever. If you don't like my art or my POV, just get out of my DA and that's it.
And yeah, you can say I'm a "close minded" person if you wish. I do not care to prove you or the world wrong.
When doing artwork I only have ONE thing in mind: "This is what I have to say, and that's just it". I don't do artwork to "like" others or to start debates... I used to believe that I could change minds, but I don't care about changing anyone, I just do and say what I want to.
So, following this philoshy I'll Just let you know if you ever answer back I'm going to delete every single comment after this, because for me this debate is over.

XDD!!
