Yo peeps,
When I was just a youngster, trying to snag an autograph from an athlete was tops on my list. Nothing could have been more important. I’d squeeze myself among a hoard of fans, all coveting the same thing - the john handcock from a professional athlete - and it didn't even matter who. If that guy was wearing a uniform from either the home or visiting team, then I wanted them to put letters down for me. Kinda silly thinking, but as a kid, they were all larger than life.

My wife and kids collect sigs all the time at games. Astros. They try and collect the main lineup of the season on balls etc. It's pretty easy before a game. they don't intend it for sale... just doing it as fans. my wife records and watches every single game even if she finds out they lose.

Baseball is funny like that. It's got the history.
But man, that's some crazy commitment. I've been a lifelong Mariners fan, so I can't imagine watching a game if I know they've already lost.
