Description
My submission for task 6 of "Enjoyment".Salep was paired this time with Sayest (the cool bad boy of ) and Hideyoshi (the hot war-lord belonging to ). So, our three boys like, among other things, a good healthy sparring. Although I could not depict it all too well, both Hideyoshi (the long-haired dude giving Salep a flying kick) and Sayest (the curly-head with the daggers) are shorter than Salep. So my idea was for the two to team up to compensate the height difference
. Sorry I haven't addad a background for this one, but I thought that it would be a distraction and the cool fighting scene won't be seen in its complete coolness (or may be this is just another way to say that I've been lazy
?) Done with Soft pastels and fine liners with a bit of white acrylic here and there

How may I not earlier tell that this piece is captivating! It's nice to see men having good time (it resembles me past time when I used to play capoeira). Good job on dynamism - all three are clearly in a motion! Also you succeded with anatomy.

Wow, look at them go at it! Sparring with one opponent can be difficult, sparring with two of them sure must be even more challenging. In Salep's shoes I'd try to get rid of Sayest first because he has daggers and is potentially more deadly.

Oh really nice to see all three of them here! I absolutely love that dynamic pose, how Hideyoshi's hair flows in the movement. And how they all looks so concentrated but also they seem to be enjoying themselves! The highlights looks great too.

Them teaming up on the Salep for being taller is kind of funny . I really love this picture. Their expressions and poses look great

Aw, wow, look at this! I keep coming back to it and smiling! All three of them are being very smart fighters and the coloring style you chose really made the pop. I love the little white highlights, they give the characters a real three dimensional feel. Your anatomy is super awesome and each character really feels like they have weight to them.
It's nice to see Sayest so happy. He really enjoys the challenge a low stakes but intense sparring match offers.

I'm here for task 7 for OC-training !
I love your dynamism and how you've thought so clearly about your characters' world. You're very good at capturing colour and poses and you always make the poses look very realistic and "in motion" rather than stiff, which is wonderful. Martial arts poses are hard but you've done them really well. You're both good at digital and traditional. In this particular picture, you've also chosen a good colour scheme which helps to give off a feeling of friendship between the three parties. Salep is an interesting character--his facial expressions you've drawn him fits his calm and wise personality.
The only word of advice I could give you is that you could try experimenting more with backgrounds and depth since your submissions for OC-training generally have not much chance to show us backgrounds. Since your world is so well thought out, I'd love to see more of what the world in which Salep lives in looks like.

I know what you mean. I want to do more backgrounds as well for the OC-training stuff in particular but I always barely make the due date at times, so I don't have much time to try out new things sometimes.

Here for task 7!
First of all very nice artwork! Your drawing style is accurate and it's easily understandable you put care and love into your drawings!
I think both the techniques you use (digital and traditional) fits you and you use them with dexterity. I really like the effect who gives the yellow paper on the background,as in this case, and I saw others pieces with this technique where the background show a landscape; the result is stunning! Your Salep is an interesting character, gives me the feelings of a calm and strong person and the colors you choose for him fits very well
Also the martial art poses are represented with a good anatomy even if they are difficult like in this case. The only advice I wanna give to you is to don't draw the sketch on the final paper. Use a normal sheet and when you find the right pose transfer it on the yellow paper. In this way you won't see the pencil and rubber signs of the previous mistakes

Excellent work here--I love the motion you've captured and how you did all of their relative poses. Hideyoshi looks amazing in your style and I love how you did his moving hair. Great job on Sayest's pose and his hair, as well. They all do look like they're enjoying themselves quite a bit!
