okay so I'm a day late with this... pfft work was evil and I didn't finish it thanks to being uber pissed off but I did now.
I wanted to do something for Kakashi's b-day too so that's coming. But this was easier to work on with work being as it is atm.

It's one of my two absolute favorite pairings (the other being KakaIru of course). Similar type of chemistry as ShinoKiba but different.

I'm kinda fond of it myself.. but still I prefer Kiba with someone more mysterious and darker, like Shino or Sasuke.

I can't stand him with a traitor like Sasuke. I tend to write Kiba with strong loyalty traits so my Kiba muse tends to HATE Sasuke. I like him with Shikamaru because he's the perfect counter-balance to Kiba. I like Shino with him too, they're adorable and what not, but I like Shikamaru better of the two just because I like the character more. ShikaKiba and ShinoKiba are functionally on the same level for me. There are nuances at are different of course but they works similarly.

Band month on Naruto 404 was pretty awesome. I had a Kiba that everyone is still like "Oh he was awesome" cuz he was very very very Kiba.

If you haven't read Ice Picks and Hand Grenades [link] it's by who drew this you should, she's the author who made me fall in love with them. I have a short fic with them but mostly I RP with her and color her art. She and I met Kiba's English Voice actor at NDK this year which was really cool, he signed a pic she did of Kiba (for me!). The ShikaKiba stuff is the first RP I'll be posting, I just have to get the person I RPed the ShinoKiba stuff with to finish the RPs we have started since they're kind of integral to the story.

He was REALLY nice and said how sexy her Kiba was. He was a last minute guest at the con too so it was just luck and well stubbornness because they were going to end the line right freaking in front of me because they didn't think they'd have enough time and I asked them to PLEASE let us stay just in case they had time and explained that we'd been sitting in that line for HOURS jut to meet one voice actor (the line was LONG behind us too) so he talked to the voice actors and they stayed longer and then even did a second signing for people who didn't get in the first one (we did though and it went a lot faster than people were expecting I think).

Thanks, I love to color her stuff especially when it's either KakaIru or ShikaKiba because they're my faves.
Hidaka does amazing work. Can you believe the lineart there is pencil and ink, not photoshop? She does really cheap commissions too. ^.^

My coloring would be nothing without that fabulous lineart. If you haven't already you should go check out the rest of her stuff. She does Shika a LOT!
