Well, when Peter Parker was fighting whit the green goblin close to the nasa instalations, the simbiotic possesed his body amplifying the ring powers, but when peter will try to kill Aunt May, he decided to destroy the alien whit the help of Eddy Brook, but the simbiot survives and takes control of Eddys mind, whit the remaining power of the ring in it´s body Venom trys to destroy the emerald spider.
