Trainer: Abby Sandlefort

Profile:
Abby is a friendly girl who after defeating all the gym’s in Honenn, Kanto and Johto came home and spent her time on the internet or helping out at her families inn.

On the whole Abby isn’t really considered to be ambitious, however when offered a challenge she will always accept it, she is very stubborn so she will work very hard on winning the challenge.

Originally Abby had no intention of battling through any other regions; but took them in her stride when her older brother and father put it into her mind that she wanted to do it. Her brother is her greatest influence on her and he was the reason she was entered into the Ohana Islands Challenge.
What she doesn’t know is that she has been entered, as her brother submitted her application on her behalf.
Is almost always accompanied by her Buizel; Stream, who was her first ever Pokemon.

Team:

Stream [Buizel]
- Ability: Swift Swim - Boosts the Pokémon’s Speed in rain.
- Nature: Jolly.
-Characteristic: Likes to run.
- Met at White Lake as a child.
- Water type.
- Stream has been with Abby since she was 6 years old. She’s a friendly Buizel and loves Abby dearly and can be overly protective of her at times. She wears an Everstone because she worries that if she ever evolves she might forget growing up with Abby.

Nimbus [Altaria]
- Ability: Natural Cure - All status problems are healed upon switching out.
- Nature: Gentle.
-Characteristic: Often lost in thought.
- Met in Honen; Route 45 (As a Swablu)
- Flying/Dragon type.
- Named after the clouds she looks like, Nimbus is the peacemaker of the group, she doesn’t enjoy fighting and tries her best to get it over as quick as possible, preferring Perish song over her other moves, she loves flying with Abby and Stream.

Nezuko – A.K.A Nezu [Raichu]
- Ability: Static -Contact with the Pokémon may cause paralysis.
- Nature: Naughty.
-Characteristic: Proud of her power.
- Met in Pallet Town through trade. (As a Pikachu)
- Electric type.
- Nezuko was traded for a Growlithe egg, her original trainer traded her because he thought she was too much trouble and wanted a more loyal Pokemon. Nezu is always eager to get into battle and even as a Pikachu was always pushing her self to be strong, jumping at the chance to evolve with a thunderstone, she still wears her soothe bell even though she doesn’t need it because it was the first thing Abby gave her.

Waker [Empoleon]
- Ability: Torrent - Powers up Water-type moves in a pinch.
- Nature: Quiet.
-Characteristic: Likes to relax.
- Hatched in Violet City, Johto. (As a Piplup)
- Water/Steel type.
- Waker is very quiet and rarely makes any noise, Abby’s brother calls him Buddha as he always seems to be in a reflective state of thought. He was given to Abby as an egg by her brother and seems to hold him in high regard.

Twitch [Flareon]
- Ability: Flash Fire - Powers up Fire-type moves if hit by a fire move.
- Nature: Brave
-Characteristic: Highly Curious
- Given to when at the Celadon Mansion, Kanto (As Eevee)
- Fire type.
- Always smiling, Twitch loves helping Abby anyway he can and even as an Eevee he showed no fear, however he isn’t reckless and doesn’t care for any Pokemon who are. Despite being a fire-type, he enjoys playing in the snow.

Thatcher [Riolu]
- Ability: Inner Focus - This Pokémon will not flinch. Does not prevent flinching with Focus Punch.
- Nature: Timid.
-Characteristic: Alert to sounds.
- Hatched in Ilex Forest, Johto.
- Fighting type.
- Thatcher is the youngest member of the team and his egg was a birthday gift to Abby from a friend. As he is also one of the smallest of the team which has made him very shy, he gets along best with Stream and Nimbus and will always play with them. Waker makes him very nervous because the only time he has ever spoken to him was to tell him off for straying too far from Abby and the team one night when Twitch talked him into going exploring.
