Well thank you, I do so appreciate you kind comment.

As long as I can go outside, I can tolerate and somewhat appreciate winter. At the moment it is a drag because of my broken foot that limits the range in whick I can travel. I will have to content myself with "warm thoughts" since I can't move fast enough to keep warm.

So anyway, I hope I can share some more of this countryside with you. Believe me...I think of you enjoying the warm sun, while I'm shivering. :

Try to think warm thoughts, especially when sipping hot coffee, tea, or chocolate and enjoying the fireplace at your home, especially when you feel like staying inside instead of venturing outside. Do take care of your foot, Joyce!

Well you hit the mark with hot coffee, my drink of choice. Would you believe I have a commercial size Bunn coffee maker???...that is how much coffee that is consumed within this household, although at night I enjoy two goblets of Canadian Old Vine Riesling. There isn't too many times that I feel like staying inside...well if there is a blinding blizzard blowing...I stay inside, but normally regardless of temperature, I do go outdoors in search for photos.

The thing is, the cold temperatures do affect my camera...too cold and I use up a battery in no time.

I am trying to look after this foot...I'm not a down-time type of person.

Lucky you!!!! I'm still thinking green, not ready for winter at all. It is so unusual to see leaves on the trees, quick frozen, and full of color. I've never seen this before.

Thank you...I will think of you enjoying the warm sun while I'm sitting in a snow bank...that should help keep me warm.

We have been having the best autumn ever! Warmer and clearer than usual, after that crazy rainstorm in October, that is.
