I have loved monkeys and penguins enough (hence the reason for monguin) to recognize how popular they are compared to pirates and ninjas.

That would make sense because ninjas dwell in the trees and use monkeys as inspiration to fighting techniques and penguins are sea creatures, not to mention the comment I just posted about the Drake Passage.

YES! I've ALWAYS said that Penguins are the NINJAS of the Animal Kingdom! Training in the solitude of remote Antarctica, enduring the worst cold, leaving the world to make assumptions about their abilities... Obviously we don't see them flying high over the ground for the world to see, but perhaps they fly stealthily low, just skimming the ground... Or perhaps it's enough that they skim just below the ocean's surface at blistering speed, capable of assaulting any shore without detection! And on a continent filled with white snow, they're predominately black, save for their white underbelly? I say while you're staring at the large, obvious group of penguins, you're being stalked by scout assassins you can't even see just waiting to take you out if you make the wrong move! Pirate Monkey is awesome, but I think the win will go to Ninja Penguin!
