so . my computer broke it overheated and wont turn on so im getting a new computer soon and i rrly hope i can retrieve all the stufff on there cause there is so much stuf and i gotta clean it !!!! im gona get a window s computer next, fat3 is a mac one of those big macs., but yeah also ive had this babey for years since 2015 and i hvae sentimental atachment to it. [i named my computer fat3 because it stands for fuck ass the 3rd and he was also one of my ocs. i should draw him more for the memoreys] and he has so many stickers on it. it just been slowly dying since i got it. but oh well his time has come, and in memory of fat3 im gonna draw him and redesign him, possibly bring him back because i havent drawn him in a HOT WHILE now. rip fat3 u silly computer uwu-fat3

If you wanna extract the data, I'd recommend splitting the bottom of the PC off and seeing where the data drive (or whatever holds the computer's data) is, taking that out, and taking it to an official. Unless, of course, you have it saved in some sort of drive like Google has. But the first choice is a last resort. Just a quick way of getting the projects/data out. If you need someone to hold on to the projects while you get the new PC, just send me a note! I'd keep 'em in a drive 4 u UwU

i dotn have the files backed up, so im going to take it to a professional to try and recover the data. but for now i have a slow laptop [although it works]

Oof. I have a laptop like that and I HATE IT. Though it works, I feel like it's not on Windows 10 but XP instead. I think you can get a speed boost tower or something to fix that, but I'd probably recommend some, as I call it, "File Spring Cleaning." Basically find some files that you don't use (old sketching apps, pictures, and whatever takes up the most space. Just don't delete system 32 unless you wanna brick the laptop) and list out what you've done with it (major projects, animations, etc.). If they have less than a set amount, delete it. For this, I'd say 10 things. Just a bit of advice.

Fat3 is the file format/extension for DSi files and data. (Technically it’s called Fat32, but for some reason it used to be called fat3 and still shows up as fat3 on computers) so if you were uploading data (for example, a Flipnote) from your DSi to your computer (using the SD card at least) then the file format would be fat3. This is how some Flipnoters upload to YouTube, by taking the DSi’s SD card, plugging it into a computer, taking the Flipnote file from it and saving it, converting it to a video and then uploading it.
So I guess it’s a weird coincidence that the name of your prized electronic(s) also happens to correlate with the DSi and its Flipnote storage system (which is what started your channel - Making Flipnotes!)
