But, I don't understand how your art can get 700+ favorites when so many people work 8374839x harder on their art and get maybe up to 30 and that's it? I'm guessing because of site algorithms. But you know. I don't understand... Still. Maybe it's just because you have a 9-12 year old fan base. ShRuG. Which that young of children should definitely not be on DA.
No this isn't a fight against kittydog. I bet she's a nice person. I just don't get it.... Maybe artists that have a smaller watcher count but try harder and even hours on their art should get more favorites and watchers than someone who spend maybe 15 minutes creating something.

I don't really agree, wait, no I do, butttt, I honestly think you should change your words cause, you're coming off a lil rood ;v; I get that kittydog is a lil "overrated", and I, half agree, but I really don't like when people say, "This other person worked 113432213 times harder than this person", I respect your opinion, but I have to say, that, it's not her fault, (Not like you said it was, but It seemed like it). Point being is, saying that some other artists should have more favorites on their art than this, could really damage an artist, especially if they have no control over the algorithm of DA. well most the people are coming from youtube and she already has over 500k subs now and people probably just want to support her by liking the art and the other people that get less attention is because they aren't as big as her so of course they won't get as much love but that's how popularity works my guy.
and its not her fault for being so popular it just happens and we cant help it even if it is unfair

Agreed. And i mean, animations by kittydog aren't that bad it's just the art quality isn't the highest. Which is understandable as well.
But the fans of these guys are the toxicity. Kittydogcrystal herself isn't toxic I'd say but the fans are because they can be very overprotective and they don't get that everyone that gives criticism isn't an automatic enemy

i see beautiful artwork and animations made by other artists that only get 30 likes and it makes me so annoyed because I know how draining it can be to spend hours on art and get no motivation from it.

i'm not taking this as a fight against kittydog, and i'm not the hugest fan of her art, but I think comments like that are useless. She said multiple times that she knows that and she said it makes her sad because she simply didn't ask to be in the front page. And even tho her art has flaws, I still think effort does sprinkle from her art sometimes. It,s really not that big of an offense that art of a lower level gets favorites. I know how it feels to spend hours on a drawing and then WOOHOO 1 FAV IN THREE WEEKS, but really this comment is just useless. It's not criticising the art but bitching on the fact that she has lots of fans. It,s okay to express your anger, but considering it's kinda something you can't change and also the fact that it made her really sad makes this comment look pretty useless. And don,t worry, you probably haven't seen her vents, and it's okay to express your feelings! But I just feel like this is a pretty petty comment, considering the fact that she's popular simply can't be changed (and shouldn't). Art isn't the reason I like her, it's her animations that I like. Most people do prefer her animations (that have lots of qualities to them, like she actually COMMITS ANIMATION instead of sliding two pictures, which isn't that bad of a thing and its something I do but its just not really good to look at, and her videos are, in my opinion, sprinkling of effort and hard work)

Animation is hard. I do it on a separate account and I may get up to 20 favorites and they're more than 20 frames and hard to work on with just the little bit of animation things I am able to use. "Pretty petty" is not what I'd say. And yes I do not know because 1. I don't watch her 2. I just noticed some things about it and wanted to address it.3. I legit just don't have a high opinion on her art 4. I don't know things about her since I'm not a fan of hers. And yes maybe hard work and stuff but there are A L O T of artists that work so hard on art and don't get nearly anything. Yes the algorithm is messed up and takes quantity over quality.

the fact that animation is hard and that you don't get lots of views is not a reason to be mean. It,s not her fault if she gets more views. She didn,t ask for it. Complaining about it won,t help at all and is useless.
Her art doesn't look really good in my opinion, not saying that she's super good at art. I'm just saying it's useless to complain about her views. in fact, it will just get her even more views.
