Hehe yeah Misty was always more the carbon-copy of her ma in my head than Stonefur ever was, hence the slender beauty and similar eyes - tho if it's any comfort she's larger in size compared to her mother lol (Oakheart's Coon blood's work) but yeah I see a lot of people imagining Blue's kids as longhaired, or well, at least some of them. But glad you like it, I found I was in need of one more lineage in RC to avoid too many rogue-adoptees, so Primrose was a perfect candidate for revival. uvo

Yeah it's true. I also like how Misty is lighter than her brother, kind of like Feathertail and Stormfur.

Also, how do you keep track of all the genetics? Could you give me a quick example, if it isn't too much trouble?

Well, I keep a basic chart of every character's genetics, looking like this; 

(Mistystar) 

gene codes / physical looks

Genes:
Green eyes
B/b2 - black
a/a - solid
Mc/mc - carry mack/classic
d/d - dilute
L/l - shorthaired
s/s - no white
w/w - no white
wb/wb - no wide band

There's one for every profile, so whenever I'm setting down the genetics for a cat, I look up both its parents, and cross-check their genetic profiles to make sure I'm not making any mistakes. I keep them pretty basic-looking to make em easy to read at all times. Ofc the challenge is when you first start out, say the first cat in a chart, but once that hassle is overcome, the rest usually follows suit. ^^

Hehe, certainly~ I've never been too fond of how the story always kinda ignored how Leopardstar virtually broke a lot of rules but went unpunished throughout her life...

So like, Leo inherits Crooked's position just like in canon, however a good while later (Crooked doesn't die until the second series) and, instead of choosing an experienced cat for deputy, she chooses Hawkfrost instead. There already, she's making a grave mistake. Hawkfrost starts his own show, firing up under a new bout of intolerance and half-Clan hatred in RC, and Leo isn't able, or willing, to stop him, instead silently going along with it all. Considering RC just then was divided, with cats of Crooked's spirit embracing tolerance and honouring his values butting heads with backways idiots who were afeared of their culture being lost, it made it all the worse that their leader was so indecisive, and not to mention partial towards Hawkfrost himself. Now Hawkfrost goes and gets himself killed like usual, but as the Clan simmers down and starts sorting things out, they need someone to take the blame, enter Leopardstar. So she's removed from leadership, renamed back to her warrior name, and forbidden from ever becoming deputy or leader again.

Glad you prefer Misty's green eyes tho, I admit I like em better myself lol - but I dislike the canon design's awful pink nose just as much, of not more haha!

Indeed, but will you do the same for Blackstar too? He also has made some very unsavory decisions and has done some very nasty things (murdering Rosetail and Stonefur). Does he also must face the music in the world of TTB?

Hmm...I can see it happening that way, but I feel like it just isn’t strong enough. Leopardstar’s biggest strike was the incident with Tigerstar, when she signed away the rights of leadership to a tyrant who killed her loyal deputy and tried to kill two young cats (note the grandchildren of a very well-respected leader)...maybe Tigerstar is the reason that Mistystar’s other kits had died.

Kit-killer is certainly not a nickname that I would want to be labeled as...but regardless of when and how she is removed from power...something tells me that Leo would not take it well. She LIVED for RiverClan and strived to be deputy and leader...she basked in the glory and power...to lose it all plus the respect of her Clanmates...I kind of see her going rogue.

Is Hawk and Moth the children of Sasha or are they Leo’s?

And I am totally in love with Primrosepaw’s warrior name. That plus her unique design? One very gorgeous RiverClan lady.

Nope, Blackstar kinda gets away from most of it this time around too, mainly cuz he doesn't commit as many crimes haha. Neither Rosetail nor Stonefur meet the same fate as in canon, so Blackfoot cannot have murdered them, and as such, cannot be punished for a crime that never took place. He does get denounced along with Brokenstar's rogues early on in the series, but when Broken is overturned, he and Russetfur willingly choose exile, having become disillusioned by their Clan life - they're only taken back much later when the Clan suffers from its illness. 

Well, therein too is a bit of a canon change to me, as TigerClan never happens, in other words Leopardstar cannot either be punished from crimes that never took place. Had I gone with canon however, then yeah, Leo would've faced dethronement and punishment right after the TigerClan mess was over with, for having partaken in terrorism and lynch mobs, if only by default. However, this Leo of mine has a lot of pride, but also a lot of shame - she is very shameful over her mistakes, enough that when they dethrone her, she imposes exile upon herself, and goes to live at the edge of the border, in a sort of wishful penitence. Ofc RiverClan aren't savages so they'll take her back, but Leo is... well, she's still vindictive and harsh in her own way, but she's less power-crazy in this AU, with more of a... knightly honour? I think. Or something like it. She faces victory AND defeat headson, because it's what she does.

And yep, Hawk and co. are Leo's kids this time around, lending itself to why she was so partial to Hawkfrost and willing to overlook his bad decisions, having those rose-tinted mummy's glasses on unfortunately...

I'm happy to hear that tho, I'm rather fond of the -pad suffix so that's very pleasing~ <3
