Description
This is Mr Rivers.He works as an accountant and he's much more comfortable with numbers than he is with people. He especially likes the numbers 3 and 5. He doesn't much care for the number 9 though.

Water colour on 300g watercolour paper. Original size about 12cm x 22cm.
The original looks heaps better than this terrible scan.

Man, I hate it when scanners kill stuff... It makes me crazy when they especially ruin things on watercolor paper >_>
The blue tones are so soothing, they really fit well with this lil' guy's attitude from what I can tell. I really love the all-around layout and style... everything works together wonderfully.

I'm glad that Mr Rivers made you feel happy, he's not a great people person so I should think that knowing that you're happy to meet him will make him happy too.
I honestly haven't painted with watercolours in years! This didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to, due to my rusty skills and the fact that the paper was rougher in texture than what I'm used to using.
And there's no way my skills could ever equal yours, you're a genius when it comes to watercolouring!

So he wouldn't like the Beatles' Revolution No. 9? That's a shame. Still, his hair rocks, his clothes still rocks...and he is under an archway with trees and clouds! What more could one ask for. For an accountant, he's got it made.

I like number 9 and 3 but I've ALWAYS really hated number five because its EVERYWHERE. Everything is always in five's and you can't divide it or anything.
I also really like this piece, did you use blue ink or adjust the colours? I love how simple it is, but also has a presence, you know? It has feeling in it, even if it's simple.

My favorite numbers are 7 and 23.
(Half of five is 2.5 
It's just watercolour, different shades and washes of blue and blue-green.

I like number 3 and 5 and LOVE this deviation.....but the number 9 is rather distateful....
