Desperate hope flared in her mind, but her voice remained calm. "What were you trying to do? Did you think you were a bird? Did you think you could fly?" Her mew was as gentle as a mother's.

I loved this scene because Leafpool seemed so cute and gentle and responsible for her mentor. Well, ya know. Her former mentor. I still loved this scene. Yes I've started on Dark River. I finally see what all the fuss about Jaypaw and a stick is now.
