I was wondering, how much do sell your prints for? My friend and I where thinking of doing a booth next year or so, and we don't know how much we should sell our prints for

I usually like to price my things relatively low in comparison to other artists. If I sold this piece on a framed canvas with only 4 copies, it would be extremely high. However, paper is cheap and allows the consumers to gather their favorite of favorites without breaking the bank. It also allows artists such as us to enjoy their company and their investments to our future projects.
I price Sardonyx at $6 like all of my 11x8.5 prints~
I price my small 11x17 posters at $12
and I sold stickers for $1
When you're selling your work, you can price it however much you want, but this is my little trick. It doesn't work all the time, but I've never been in the red.
take all total and projected costs of being in the convention and set it aside: ( cost of booth, cost of hourly time [7.50 and hour] and food cost [40 bucks] cost of an assistant)= $280
plus your change= $75
You are currently 355 dollars in the red at this moment
After you have decided the different kinds of items you'll be selling (2 prints, 1 poster, and 6 buttons=9 kinds)
each section will be added to by $40
example for prints (like sardonyx) 30 copies, overall cost of copies was $35 for high gloss, the drive there took 1.50 in gas, and then multiply it for cost coverage for 2.5 and then round down.
35+40+1.50= 76.5
/30= 2.55
x2.5= 6.375
$6
If you sell 6 of them, they will cover your initial purchase from the print shop ($36)
if you sell an additional 7, it would cover 1/9th of your booth/food/and extra costs($42)(total=$78)
if you sell all of your items, that's $102 of projected profit, as well as some wiggle room in case your other projects don't pan out
It helps to count your prints and keep a log of it all. I keep a sheet between the amount i need to sell, and the amount that is for profit so I can feel out whether I'm doing a good job.

I would love to expand your steven universe merch! Tho if there's ever an opportunity to buy CN merch, i hope you'll choose that over mine! Fanmade stuff is awesome and helps the fandom, but the REAL DEAL helps the show keep goin' (pssssttt i heard there's an actual cheeseburger backpack. I AM SO FLIPPPIN' IN)

Have you seen Gravity falls? It's a real good show. Also I remember talking with you at Senshi-con! I'm not sure if you remember, but on the first day I wore an orange wig and a lab coat, on the 2nd day I wore a purple fursuit. You told me you were going to Yuki fest but, sadly I couldn't go, and was very disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing you again!

I'm not sure I remember you, but I'm glad we had an awesome chat! Also, I wasn't able to go to Yuki Fest because of college responsibilities. Thankfully, there's a fandom convention called "Taikai Con" going on in Palmer in a few months. You can see me there with some experimental merch~ In addition, I LOVE GRAVITY FALLS AAAA and I'm sure people would love to purchase some "goodbye gravity falls" keychains or some such. What do you think you'll be cosplaying next as in senshi con? I should keep an eye out.
