Description Just realized I never actually uploaded a picture of this to my gallery here.

This was my entry in the "VG Remix" competition over on the Polycount forums. The rules were to take a game of your choosing and make a 3d diorama with a extremely low polygon and texture budgets. Hero assets (those deemed central or more important) were allowed no more than 500 tris and 128x128 texture space. All other assets needed to be around 100 tris (each) or less, with 64x64 textures or smaller. I picked Advance Wars - not only because the art style seemed very well suited for the competition, but also because it's one of my all-time favorite games. Love me some turn-based strategy.

Anyway, I had made a post about voting for me, so if you did, THANK YOU! Some of you must've shown some support, because I took 7th place out of 88 entries!! I was stoked to have placed as high as did, especially considering the amount of amazing entries I was up against. Plus, the whole thing was super fun to be a part of. I'm definitely looking forward to more competitions in the future.

Oh, and if you want to check out the top 20 entries, Polycount was nice enough to put them in a gallery together for easing browsing. Check it out here: sketchfab.sketchfab.me/folders…
