Probably only a few catfish. Nothing that you would bother fishing for. The river has a weir just past the town centre. It keeps the river full enough to look pretty but the ecology is fucked.Β

They are considered vermin here. We have found the best way to cook them is to put them in a saucepan of milk with a brick. When the brick is soft you throw away the fish and eat the brick.
