"Moskau" was a song from 1979 by a group called Dschinghis Khan.

Hmm, I have never heard of them, although I do like me some 70's music.Β
What are they like?Β

I've only heard the one song from them, so I wouldn't know much apart from that.

However, here it is:

Bear in mind that this was the time when disco was the big thing.

I was more into the alternative that evolved from it, really.Β  Some of the bands my family got to like in the '80s didn't get a lot of airplay in the US, but they were sure fun!

And you never know who may have either come back recently or are still around today after so long.

Alternative rock?Β
Yeah that's true. I was surprised to hear that Queen is still around, even without Freddie Mercury.Β

Yeah, I guess that stint with Paul Rodgers didn't go over as well as they had hoped.Β  (I liked a few of those, really.)

But when the "wave" music of the '80s popped up...Well, I can't say for sure how much you would know of bands such as Ultravox or my personal favorite, Alphaville, but even if they didn't get much airplay in the States, we still liked a lot of their stuff.

I never got into Queen after Freddie Mercury passed away.
I might check them out.

I don't know much about 80's "wave" music... any other bands you'd care to recommend? Β
Yeah, never heard of those bands...

Very nice! The German should read "wirf die GlΓ€ser an die Wand" throw your glasses at the wall. That aside, it's fantastic.
