It is Luc and his shadow self. A light you'd get from a campfire is shining on him enough that the shadow form is on the wall behind him.
It was fun to paint and draw the wall behind him with rocks inside of a cavern with some roots hanging down. If you would like to know more about the character and the story, feel free to contact and ask the commissioner.
