I'm not sure how this looks to other people, but to me it reminds me of looking down off a mountain at the valley below - late autumn when the sun's just setting and the light crosses the clouds in ways it never has before... That turned far more poetic than I intended but the point still stands, it looks like it's very far away with the exception of that gigantic tree in the background.
I don't know if you were painting anything in particular or just from your mind, but I like the way it seems to play with size.

At the house I grew up in (the one I just left a few months ago), we had a swamp maple in the front yard that was at least 45 feet tall. I like big trees :-P

oh, it must have been so beatiful! the biggest tree i ever saw is at the place the annual Game jam happen were i live, that is one of the main reason i go! such splending living,giant trees!
