Description The colour scheme is really gross but that's what I get for trying to merge three different colour schemes.
I still feel like for the style I'm making the hands way too big but if someone wants to tell me otherwise I'd appreciate it.

What has science done?!

Yeah, straight-up mixing colours is always gonna give you weird browns and beiges and grays.

I think you're right about the hands being too big. This pic strikes me as having a somewhat masculine appearance, which I think is caused by a combination of too-big hands and the face not quite being rounded enough (the chin is too prominent). EQG hands are dainty; while they can hold things, they don't look like they have a lot of grasping power.

Here's a few references that might be useful. Firstly, Sunset Shimmer holding the sledgehammer in EQG1. You can see in these that she can't quite wrap her fingers all the way around the sledgehammer's handle.

And here's a pic which shows the difference between "large" EQG hands and normal EQG hands. In theory, nobody should have bigger hands than Big Macintosh.

Love the pic though, your linework and design are awesome, and I love these fusion concepts!

Wow; thanks a ton! Not sure if I'll do too many more fusion concepts soon but thank you very much for such helpful references. In classes involving anatomy that I'm currently taking they REALLY focus on how hands should be as big as the face, so it's difficult for me to draw hands so tiny. I have issues with their thin waists as well. I'll have to study EqG anatomy a little more in the near future.
I'll definitely keep these references on-hand when I do more EqG-based stuff. REALLY appreciate your help.
