Description At first I was supposed to draw Riding Pony stallion doing cross-country.. But somehow this turned out to be some kind of Irish Cob mare running free.. I'm quite pleased how this turned out, especially her forelegs. Background is as fabulous as ever (= done in two minutes).

For horse's pose I used this slightly as a reference. Done with GIMP2 and Wacom Bamboo pen. ~2 hours.

This looks amazing!  I would  definitely suggest making the tail flow more freely.  If this horse is galloping then it should be straight out behind him.  I feel like the back leg that's lifted off the ground looks like it's angled oddly, but this could just be me. xD  The front legs also look a bit thin for the body type of the horse.  Perhaps make them a bit stockier/thicker.  Otherwise you did very well!

Thank you! Yeah that back leg might look little odd, I find it quite difficult to draw hind legs.. But thank you for your advices, I really appreciate them! (:

Very nice!  I think to make it look more like its galloping you need to have a bit more movement in the piece the main and tail should be being blown in the wind like they are in your reference and heaving the head further up looking more strained. your anatomy looks overall good you just need to work on creating movement

Dig your coloring technique. Very nice. Did you draw this from your imagination or did you have a picture reference? I'm just a tad at doubt that this position would actually be physically possible. I would expect a prancing horse to have both rear feet firmly to the ground. I quickly google'd "prancing horses" and most of them do anyways. But I'm niggling now, I know ...

Thank you!
I used this as reference. My intent was to draw the horse galloping with high and little collected steps, not prancing. c:

How about that! I guess it's the slight difference stance of the front legs that made me think the horse is prancing, not galloping. But I guess I should have known, since you titled the piece "galloping". Anyways, niggling. Nice work.
